As the game progressed the pack worked well and mauled up-field. Ady Nevin made great ground and in the end Alan Stirling picked up at back of the maul and powered over to score. The conversion attempt missed.

In the final stages of the first half Cameron Jinks decimated the opposition defence and scored two tries. Not content with this he also converted both bringing the score to 22-0 at half time.

As the second half started the backs were on the move again and centre Nigel Hall sprinted away to score. The conversion was off-target.

Another backs move saw wing Steve Callaghan put in the final move to score and again the conversion missed.
