To complement your arrival experience an impressive new entrance lobby and reception hall has been opened since April this year. Corinthian columns and a paved exterior approach give way to an automatic glass door into the large lobby. This area has marble tiles, lofty ceilings with brass chandeliers and armchair seating areas.

The main feature is the 1860’s original Victorian fireplace of superior walnut in a neo-classical style with engaged three quarter Corinthian columns agapanthus and egg and dart carving surround the fireplace.

Steps or, if required, a lift - take the guest up into the reception hall and the new walnut check-in/reception desk where the staff are pleased to assist you. This area joins seemlessly onto the original part of the house. The original 17th century entrance still remains for the traditionalists amongst you.

The Orchid Room: This stunning room caters for 150 - 350 guests and with its adjoining bar and conservatory can offer you a splendid backdrop for a very special day.
