Waiting times criticised at Antrim A&E Department

IT has emerged that 100 patients waited 12 hours or more before receiving treatment at the A&E Department of Antrim Area Hospital.

There was another major spike in waiting times from 5 to 11 January when 132 people waited 12 hours or more, according to figures received by the BBC.

The trust has apologised to anyone who “had a bad experience”.
